In the past few years Monmouth Park had gone from a basic race track to a family friendly and fun day out for all. Every weekend they have a different festival, usually with some food option. Sundays are kids days with bounce houses etc. Their are plenty of tellers to take your bets as well.
A beautiful old racetrack full of tradition. I wish they would expand Ladies Secret it's a great spot but it's a challenge to get a table and a long wait for food service. I suppose if there was renewed interest in horse racing that would help.
It was an amazing experience working there for the day! Excellent pay, lovely people, amazing employees, everyone was really nice. I would so love to work there again, i had a blast. Met knew people. I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed every single moment of it, and the view of the racetrack and being able to have such a spectacular fron row view of the finish line was so amazing! It was honestly, by far, an unforgettable night!
Great place to bring kids. There is a nice playground and lots of room for kids to run around. Coolers are welcome (not in Clubhouse though). Other than the price of parking ($5?) and admission ($4?), you won't find a cheaper place to spend a full day with your family. Plus, they have really great people that work there who are super nice and very accommodating.
The only thing that would make it better is if they gave the money away
